Sitting in the Museum minutes before class starts. Muffled sounds, many voices but can’t make out what is being said. Coffee machine hissing. A small boy comes in through the doors, attached to a grandparent by reigns. A school party of 7-8 year olds, the noise levels rise due to their excited voices. Snake across the marbled floor. Sun pours in, a pink light with the shadows of the lattice windows being cast on the domed ceiling. Reflections of that on the highly polish floor, a bright red coat of an elderly lady. People walking in carrying bags, cases, files under their arms. Some people waiting,  browsing in the shop, others moving purposely around. Noise of coins being put in the  till behind me. Warm comfortable seat. All quiet now.
