About Me

I came into the world of art later in life but I have the memory that once it was alien and intimidating for me. I would like to enthuse others who may think art is not for them and demonstrate that it is for all.

I gained a 1st class B.A. (Hons) degree  in Art Practice  at University of Glamorgam in June 2012.

My work is mainly 3D  using clay, wood, fabrics, fibres, paper and found objects to interpret my view on life; I also include photography and mark making.

Knitting is also a passion of mine and I explore how it can be used in an unconventional manner.

I make books, sometimes ready for others to fill and sometimes filled with my own musings. I run workshops on how to make these books.

I use my blog for different purposes – to record my work, visits to exhibitions and to store anything that takes my fancy. It is purely for my own use but if you’d like to leave a comment I’d love to hear from you.
